Winter Returns
The weather warmed sufficiently last week to melt away the snow. In the last few days temperatures dropped again and the snow returned. This was the scene in Petuel Park this afternoon.26 January 2010
Heading Home
After the thaw we have returned to freezing temperature and more snow. This was one of a few pictures I took during a walk around the city last night before my fingers froze up. Must get some photographers' gloves.25 January 2010

Over the Bridge
A couple stop to feed the ducks in the lake. At least they still have some clear water to swim in. It's hard to see at this size, but the woman on the left is looking on sternly. I don't know whether she thinks the ducks should be left to fend for themselves or whether the couple on the bridge said something she didn't approve of.20 January 2010
