Kripperlmarkt
Behind the main Christmas market in Marienplatz is the Kripperlmarkt in Rinderplatz. This is where you come to buy your crib scene and all the many accessories that go with it. Some of these cribs are hand carved and cost many hundreds of Euros. This is a selection of figures on sale at one of the stalls.02 December 2009

Pinakothek Der Moderne
The Pinakothek Der Moderne has featured before, I think. This is a different view of the museum taken at night under illumination. This was another controversial building, partly becuase of the cost, and partly because of the very modern and spare design which is quite unusual in Munich.10 November 2009

Wittelsbach Fountain
Yet another fountain - they are a feature of Munich. By now the water has been turned off in many of them and they have been covered up. Itook this image of the Wittelsbach Fountain in Lenbachplatz a couple of weeks.
