17mm is as wide as my current lens selction goes - just a little wider I and I could have got all of the base of the building in as well. Christmas is coming.

Olympiapark

This is similar to an image I posted here before. This is the night version.

The Olympic tower is reflected in the Olympic lake with the BMW HQ building in the background.

BMW

BMW dominates the area around Olympiapark as much as the famous television tower. In this one area the company has its global headquarters, the BMW Museum, BMW World and a manufacturing plant.

This shot, taken last night from a bridge over the ringroad shows part of BMW World on the the left, with the HQ building to the right and the museum just beneath it. In behind is the manufacturing plant.

Reflection

Another view of the 'four-cylinder' building and the BMW Museum, this time reflected in the glass walls of BMW World. As well as these three buildings BMW also has a manufacturing plant nearby.

BMW World is essentially a glorified car showroom, and the building itself is more interesting than the contents. The BMW Museum recently reopened after extensive renovation and expansion and is worth a visit. Guided tours of the manufacturing plant are also offered and this is by far the most interesting place to visit. Unfortunately, no photography is allowed inside.

Ringroad

This row of lights illiminates the Georg-Brauchle-Ring. The 'four-cylinder' building stands just behind the flat roof of BMW World and the bowl of the BMW Museum. To the right the tensioning cables for the Olypic Ice Stadium are visible.

Olympiapark 2

This picture gives different perspective on Olympiapark than my ealier posting Olympiapark 1, but with the same iconic elements - the television tower and the tensioned roof. In the background to the right of the tower is the 'four-cylinder', headquarters of BMW. The lake in the foregound,which hosted many of the boating events during the Games can now be navigated at a much more leisurely pace.
