The river Eisbach in the English Garden is home to the 'standing wave', one of Munich's mre unusual tourist attractions. Surfers line up along the two sides of the river waiting their turn. Even though surfing is illegal nobody bothers to stop it.
During the summer months there can be a dozen or more surfers patiently waiting during the day. These two got round the wait by turning up to surf at night by the light of a portable spotlight clamped to the bridge that overlooks the wave.

This is really cool! Love the photo.
Thanks. The temproary lighting rig up that the surfers attach to the bridge makes this kind of shot doable. Even then you have to pick a moment when the surfer in the water is moving relatively slowly.
