Moderne

The Pinakothek Der Moderne is one of the three Pinakotheken at the heart of Munich's museum district. This museum opened in 2002 and hosts four collections in art, design, architecture and works on paper.

The building itself is striking rather than beautiful and has been a challenge to photograph - for me at least. This speculative effort of the main entrance area, taken while lying down and converted to black and white, produced my best image yet of the museum.
