The parish church of St Sylvester is tucked away in the back streets of Schwabing. These are only two of the many memorials to former parishioners that are placed around the church walls.If you have ever seen Willi wonka and the Chocolate Factory you will have seen St Sylvester's. The film was shot in Munich and the church features in the opening shots as the children run out to buy their chocolate. You can watch it on you tube - the church appears at 2:06 on the video.
